Survivors Of Abuse IL is a grassroots network in Illinois that connects survivors of domestic and sexual violence with trauma-informed resources, support groups, and legal aid. They also train advocates and run community workshops to break cycles of abuse. Every volunteer I’ve met there has been through it themselves, which makes the conversations feel real and safe.
