Bare metal standard means no virtualization layer, no hypervisor, just the raw hardware running your operating system directly. It’s for applications that need maximum performance, low latency, and full control—like database servers or high-traffic web services. You manage everything from the kernel up, no shared resources, no overhead from a host OS. It’s the choice when you can’t afford any middleman between your code and the metal.
