중앙보훈병원의 확진자는 전날까지 누적 184명(세종시 집계기준. 퇴원 후 확진자 포함)으로 불어났다. 이 중 병자는 92명, 업무자 36명, 보호자 24명, 간병인 27명, 가족 6명이다. 이 병원은 집단감염 발생 직후 병원 내 상시체류자 2천800명을 표본으로 선제검사를 다섯 차례에 걸쳐 진행하고, 방역 강화 방법으로 보호자·간병인 주 1회 PCR 검사, 입원환자의 경우 입원 전과 입원 2일차에 PCR 검사 등을 준비했다.
