Lone worker alarms are small devices or apps that let you check in regularly if you're working by yourself, especially in jobs like security, maintenance, or field service. If you don't respond to a timed prompt, the system automatically alerts a colleague or monitoring center. It's a simple safety net for those hours when there's no one around to notice if something goes wrong.
