Our town finally set up a dog registry after that stray dog incident last spring. You just bring your pup's vaccination records and a photo, and they give you a little metal tag with a number. It's mainly for tracking rabies shots and making sure everyone's got their licenses, but honestly, it's kind of nice knowing all the neighborhood dogs are accounted for now.
